In the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , I've now had someone contact me who wants to put them on their 2003 Toyota RAV4. Which technically the wheels should fit on, but they need hub-centric rings. I tried to explain, but they've stopped responding.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

In my post, I have a nice long list of cars that the wheels will fit on. I also have a list of cars that will be able to use the wheels as long as you get hub-centric rings. Originally I had included links to buy hub-centric rings but the post kept getting flagged, so I changed the post to say "these will require hub-centric rings, I can show you where to buy them."

So this guy, he asks do I still have the wheels, can he come check them out, and I did the usual back-n-forth of yes they're still available, here's what part of town I live in, blah blah blah. Then he mentioned he'd use them on a 2003 RAV4, which prompted me to mention the hub-centric rings.

Apparently hub-centric rings are too complicated of a concept for this person to grasp, because yeah, the trail is now completely cold.

Here's another lookie-loo non-starter customer from earlier today.

It wasn't always this difficult to sell shit on craigslist.

It took me almost a year of BS to sell my Vortec S-Trim supercharger on craigslist. I got tons of random "will this fit x car" Or "are you looking for a supercharger I have one for sale"

The disappointing part is last year I helped my gf sell the snow tires & wheels from an old car, and it took like maybe a week tops. Got several replies, the first person who said they could show up and pay for them showed up and payed for them, the end.

I had this same problem. Instead of trying to explain it after I realized they had no clue what I was going on about I just told the guy to have them mounted at a tire shop and they'd know what to do. Knocked 20$s off the price to attempt to cover it and end the discussion.
